"Rust" is a multiplayer survival shooter developed by Facepunch Studios. The primary goal in Rust is to survive in a hostile environment filled with wildlife, environmental hazards, and other players. Starting with only a rock and a torch, players must gather resources, build shelters, and craft tools and weapons to defend themselves and thrive. The game features procedurally generated worlds, various vehicles, complex electrical systems, farming, and dynamic weather conditions. Rust encourages both cooperative and competitive gameplay, allowing players to build bases, form alliances, raid other players, and explore the ever-changing island.
