This guide will show you how to properly set up scheduled restarts into your server.

Setting Up Scheduled Restarts with Offset Messages

To set up automatic backups you need to:

1. Log in to your Pterodactyl here and stop your server.

2. Click on Scheduled Tasks, then Create Schedule.

3. Give it a meaningful name and click on Create Schedule.

4. Your task should appear there. Now, click on Manage Schedule.

You can switch the box Show Cheatsheet to see what the boxes mean.
Feel free to also tick on/off Only When Server Is Online to allow the server to create backups even if the server is offline.
On the example above, we are creating Daily backups.

5. Click on New Task.

6. Create 5 tasks for every second you would like to!
   • Seconds are progressive.

7. On Actionset it to Send power actionand on Payloadset it to Restart the server. Now, just click on Create Task.

And that is it!

Your automatic daily restart should be all set!

You can also click on Run Nowso your task will run every day at the current moment!
