How To Set Up Geyser on Minecraft 1.21.6

Geyser allows Bedrock players to join Java Edition servers. In this guide, we’ll show you two different ways to set up Geyser on your Minecraft 1.21.6 server with GGServers.

✅ Method 1: Installing Geyser via Server Type Installer

1. Log in to your control panel: https://panel.ggservers.com
2. Click on Server Type Installer in the left sidebar.
3. Set the Server Type to Geyser.
4. For Version, choose Latest.
5. For Loader Version, select Latest.
6. Click Install.
7. Once done, click Start to launch your server.

This method will automatically install a preconfigured Geyser setup for you.

⚙️ Method 2: Manual Setup Using Paper + Geyser Plugin

If you prefer a more customizable approach:

1. Stop your server from the panel.
2. Make sure all your plugins support 1.21.6!

• Visit each plugin’s website or Spigot/Bukkit page and confirm support for 1.21.6.

1. Go to the Server Type Installer.
2. Select Paper as the server type.
3. For version, choose 1.21.6.
4. Click Install and wait for the process to finish.

🧩 Installing Geyser as a Plugin

1. After the Paper installation, go to the Plugin Installer tab.
2. Search for Geyser.
3. Click the tiny download icon next to geyser-spigot.

• ⚠️ Do NOT select geyser-velocity or geyser-bungeecord.

4. Click Install Plugin.
5. Go back and Start your server.

That’s it! Bedrock players can now join your Java server via Geyser.
