Join OpenRA – Tiberian Dawn Server

Once your OpenRA – Tiberian Dawn server is configured, the final step is connecting to the battlefield. By following this guide, you will ensure Entity Clarity when searching the global lobby and successfully establish a connection to your GGServers instance.

Step 1: Access the Panel and Start

Log in to your GGServers Control Panel. Before you can join, your server must be active. Click the green Start button on the main dashboard and wait for the status to change to “Running.”

Step 2: Launch OpenRA – Tiberian Dawn

Open the OpenRA launcher on your computer and select the Tiberian Dawn mod. Once the game reaches the main menu, follow these steps:

1. Click Multiplayer on the main menu to open the connection hub.
2. The server browser will appear, displaying a list of all active games globally.
3. Filter: Use the search bar or filters to sort by game type. You can also filter out full or password-protected matches to find your target faster.
4. Connect: Look for the Server Name you previously configured in your General Settings. Select it and click Join.

Note: Your server will appear in the lobby exactly as named in your panel settings. If you cannot see it, ensure the “Public Server” option is enabled in your configuration.

Step 3: That is it!

You are now connected to your server. From here, you can select your faction, choose a starting position, and wait for other commanders to join the fray.
