Badges must be earned in each biome to fully resist hazards.

To earn a Biome Badge, you must complete all 7 biome-specific tasks:

  1. Wear required armor or hold previous biome’s badge
  2. Harvest local biome-specific resources
  3. Craft resistance remedies
  4. Mine local ore (e.g., Oil Shale in Desert)
  5. Kill biome-specific enemies
  6. Loot in the region
  7. Survive in the biome for a certain time

You can disable Biome Progression in the world/server options. This will:

  • Remove hazards
  • Remove badge requirements
  • Unlock all loot stages from the start

Storms now directly affect survival. They deal damage and require shelter. Each biome has its own lethal weather:
