This guide will show you how to properly give yourself admin privileges on your Bedrock Dedicated server.

⚠ NOTE ⚠: You will not be able to use any console commands until you OP yourself on your server.

How to OP Yourself

To OP yourself in Bedrock servers please do the following:

1. Open your Bedrock client and join your Bedrock server.

You will need to remain logged on your server until the last step, so do not close you Bedrock client and let it connected to your server!

2. Login into your Pterodactyl Control Panel here.

3. Click on Console, on the left-hand side of your Control Panel.

4. In the text box above the console, type op <username> and click to Send or press the Enter key.

⚠ NOTE ⚠: You need to replace <username> with your actual username.

Example:

 op ggservers

Or, if your username has spaces, please type it in between quotation marks.

 op "gg servers"

Should you make changes to who has OP permissions on your server, please use the /deop <username> command. This command can be executed by any OP player in-game and it can also be executed via the console to remove the OP privileges from a player.

Enable Cheats

Now, once you are already OP on your server, you might need to enable cheats for your server as well. For that, please follow the steps below:

1. Login into your Pterodactyl Control Panel here and STOP the server.

2. On the left-hand side of your Control Panel click Server Properties.

3. Scroll down on the page until you find the option to Allow-cheats. You will need to enablethat by clicking on the switch.

4. Click on Save it and START the server again.
