When managing your server, you may need to kick or ban players for various reasons. In this guide, you will learn how to remove or ban unwanted players on your Assetto Corsa server.
✂️ How to Kick a Player ✂️
You can kick a player in-game using console commands. Just follow the next steps:
- When in-game, open the chat.
- Check if you are an admin by using the following command:
/admin password
Replace the password
with your actual admin password on your server.
- Use the following command:
/kick username
Replace the username
with the actual player’s name.
How to Ban a Player
You can ban a player in-game using console commands. Just follow the next steps:
- When in-game, open the
ENTRY LIST
and note the number of the player you want to ban.
- Check if you are an admin by using the following command:
/admin password
Replace the password
with your actual admin password on your server.
- Use the following command:
/ban_id number
Replace the number
with the actual number of the player you noted above.
How to Unban a Player and Find Your Banlist
To let a player join your server again, you need to unban him, as shown below:
- Log in to your game server panel here.
- Click on your Assetto Corsa instance, then click on
Manage
, and then stop the server.
- Click on
File Manager
.
- Open the
blacklist.txt
file by right-clicking on it, then clicking onEdit
. Here you can find a list of all SteamID64 of banned players.
- Remove any entries you want, then click on
Save
.
- Start your Assetto Corsa server by clicking on
Status
, then onStart
.
