How to Join Your DayZ Server

DayZ throws players into a gritty survival environment overrun by the undead, where trust is scarce and every decision counts. Hosting your own DayZ server gives you control over the chaos, whether to survive with friends or compete for dominance.

Before you can hop into your server, make sure you have your Server IP Address handy, located at the top of your panel.

Connecting Through Direct Join

If your server is using the DayZ Experimental build, you’ll need to launch that version. Otherwise, use the standard DayZ version.

1. Open DayZ
2. Go to the SERVERS tab in the DayZ launcher, then select Direct Connect.
3. Paste your server’s IP address, port number, and password (if applicable), then click Connect.
