How to Join Your Squad Server

Once you have finished configuring your Squad server, the next step is jumping into the action. Finding your server among the thousands of active listings can sometimes be a challenge if you don’t know where to look. Follow this simple guide to start your server and connect to it using the in-game browser.

Step 1: Start Your Server

First, log in to the GGServers Control Panel. Navigate to your Squad server dashboard and click the Start button. Wait a few moments for the status indicator to turn green, showing that the server is online.

Step 2: Open the Squad Server Browser

Launch Squad from your Steam library. From the main menu, click on the Servers button to open the server navigation interface.

Step 3: Navigate to the Custom Browser

Most private or newly created servers will appear under the Custom Browser tab. Click this tab at the top of the server list.

Step 4: Adjust Your Filters

If your server is brand new and has no players yet, it might be hidden by default filters. Ensure that you check the box for Show Empty Servers so your instance appears in the list.

Step 5: Search and Join

In the search field, type the Server Name you configured in your settings. Once your server appears in the results, click on it and then click the Join Server button at the bottom of the screen.
