Here’s how you can install Unturned Mods via AMP.
There are 2 ways of doing so.
An easy automatic way, and a more hard one, going manually.
Within this article, we are going to show you both
We strongly recommend you to use the automatic mode to install your workshop mods.
Easy Automatically Installing Workshop Mods 🔧
Steps to Install Mods Automatically
- Log in to your control panel and Stop your server.
- Go to
Configuration - Navigate to
SteamCMD and Updates - Enable the option Install OpenMod.
5. Go back, and click on Update.
6. Find the Workshop Mod you wish to use and copy the Workshop ID (the Workshop ID is displayed in the URL).
7. Navigate to Configuration > Server Settings
8. Insert the Workshop Items separated with commas just like the example below:
Note: All Mod IDs should be preceded by a comma, except for the last one in the list.
9. Click outside the box to Save.
10. Go back and Start/Restart your server.
Hard Manually Installing Workshop Mods 🛠️
Steps to Install Mods Manually
- Find the Workshop Mod(s) you wish to use and click Subscribe.
2. Navigate to your Unturned workshop directory under Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\304930.
3. Within this folder, locate the items you have subscribed to.
4. Connect to your server via FTP by going to the File Manager tab.
Feel free to use FileZillaor WinSCPfor this.
5. Navigate to Bundles.
6. Open the Workshop folder.
7. Drag and drop the mod folders from your Unturned Workshop directory into the corresponding folders on the server (Maps/Content).
Upload your Mods to the Content folder, and Maps to the Maps folder.
8. Finally, Start/Restart your server.
✨ You have now successfully installed mods on your server!
How to Enable Map Mods on Your Unturned Server 🗺️
Unturned’s Steam Workshop support allows for quick and easy installation of mods, including map mods. However, enabling map mods requires a few additional steps.
Steps to Enable Map Mods
- Stop your server and install the map mod.
2. Go to Configuration > Server Settings
3. Find both boxes Map and Custom Map Name
4. On Map set it to --Custom--
5. On Custom Map Name type the name of the custom map the mod provides. ( available once the workshop item is installed )
5. Start/Restart your server.
🌟 Your server should now be running your chosen map mod!
