Want to run Fabric mods on your GGServers server for Minecraft 1.21.6? Here’s exactly how to do it in just a few easy steps.
🔒 Step 1: Stop Your Server
Before making any changes, log into your GGServers Panel at https://panel.ggservers.com and click “Stop” to turn off your server.
Never install a new server type while the server is running.
💾 Step 2: Create a Backup (Very Important)
To protect your world and files, you should create a backup:
- In the left menu of your Multicraft panel, click “Backups”
- Click the “Create Backup” button
- Wait for it to finish before continuing
This ensures that if anything goes wrong, you can restore your world instantly.
⚙️ Step 3: Use the Server Type Installer
Once your backup is complete:
- Go to the “Server Type” option on your Multicraft panel
- Click “Change”
- Select Fabric 1.21.6 from the list (you can also choose the loader version if needed)
- Click “Install” and wait a few moments for the process to complete
Fabric will now be installed on your server.
🚀 Step 4: Start Your Server
After installation, click “Start” on the panel.
Your server is now running Fabric 1.21.6, and it’s ready for mods!
📦 Step 5: Upload Fabric Mods (Updated Versions Only!)
Remember: mods also need to support Minecraft 1.21.6 and Fabric.
- Go to your File Manager or connect via FTP
- Open the
modsfolder - Upload the latest versions of the Fabric mods you want to use
- Make sure you also upload the correct Fabric API file
Mods that aren’t updated for 1.21.6 may crash the server!
