If you want to make your Core Keeper adventure more challenging or keep it more casual, you can adjust the World Mode
setting on your server. The World Mode determines the overall difficulty of your Core Keeper world, and you can switch between Normal mode (0) and Hard mode (1). This guide will explain how to change the setting step by step using your control panel.
Note: You must stop your server before changing this setting to ensure your changes are applied correctly and safely.
- First, log in to your control panel at https://panel.ggservers.com. Once logged in, find your Core Keeper server and press
Stop
to shut it down before making any edits. This step is required to prevent data corruption.

- On the left-hand menu, click on
Server Settings
and then select theGeneral Settings
tab. This section contains most of the core configuration options for your server, including the World Mode.

- In the
General Settings
tab, locate the option labeledWorld Mode
. Here you can choose the difficulty level of your world:- Normal (0): The standard Core Keeper experience, best for casual or new players.
- Hard (1): A tougher challenge with stronger enemies and harsher survival conditions, designed for experienced players.

After saving, go back to your main panel and press Start
to launch your server again. The new World Mode setting will now be applied, and all players who join will experience the chosen difficulty.
Tip: If you’re unsure which mode is right for your group, try starting with Normal and later switch to Hard once everyone is comfortable with the game mechanics. Remember, harder difficulty may require better teamwork and more preparation.
