Changing the server owner name on your Astroneer server is a simple process, and it can help personalize your multiplayer world by showing the right player or custom identity as the server’s main host. This is especially useful when running a dedicated server with GGServers, where multiple people may be playing but you want to clearly define ownership. Follow the steps below to update your Astroneer server owner name through the GGServers control panel.
First, log in to your GGServers control panel. Before making any changes, stop your Astroneer server to prevent errors or data loss. You can do this by clicking on the stop button in the panel.

Next, in the left-hand menu, click on Server Settings. This section contains all the main configuration options for your Astroneer dedicated server.

From there, open the General Settings tab. This menu allows you to edit the key server properties, including the server name, description, and ownership details.

In this section, locate the field labeled Server Owner Name. This is where you can set or update the display name of the server’s owner. You can use your in-game name, a nickname, or any title you want to represent the server administrator.

Once you update the Server Owner Name field, the changes will be automatically saved. You can then return to the main panel page and restart your server for the new settings to take effect.
That’s it! Your Astroneer server will now display the updated owner name. This helps other players easily recognize who manages the server, creating a more personalized multiplayer experience.
