Have you purchased your Factorio server at GGServers? Here’s how to get started!

First, GGServers offers full access to your game server control panel, where users can manage everything that happens on the server.

This article will show the first steps for joining your Factorio server and using the game server panel to manage your server.

✔️ How Do I Find My Game Server Panel and Server Connection Details ✔️

To access your game server panel, you need to follow the next steps:

1. Log in to your billing account here.

2. Click on your customer’s profile button, then on Email History.

---

3. Click on the first option, Your Game Server Details, and you’ll see your server information and the game server panel credentials as well.

---

4. Note your game server panel credentials and server connection details, then go here to log in. You can find the game server panel link in the welcome email as well.

⚠ NOTE⚠: Your server connection details will be used to join your server further in the guide.

5. Use the credentials from the last step and log in.

Now, you’ve just logged in to your Factorio game server panel, where you can see and manage your server.

6. After logging in, you will be able to find all your instances (game servers). Click on the Factorio instance to see the connection details or to start or stop it. You can also click on Manage to customize and make changes to your server.

7. Before you start playing, you will have to click on the Manage button mentioned in the last step, then on the Update button.

8. If you click on the Factorio instance, then on the Manage button, a new page will open where you can fully manage your Factorio server. Also, a new menu will pop up where you can select between multiple options, such as Console to see the server logs or File Manager to access your server files.

Set Up the Game Server Token

Before you start playing, you will have to set your game server token.

This is required for your server to show up in the official list for other players. Also, this way, players will be able to locate your server faster as they will be able to search it by name or tags.

To generate a game server token and add it to your server, you need to:

1. Go to the Factorio Profile page here and log in with your existing account or create a new one.

2. Find the Token section on your profile page and press the reveal button, then copy your token and username.

---

3. Open your game server panel here and log in with the credentials from the steps above.

4. Click on your Factorio instance, then click on Manage, and stop the server.

---

5. Click on Configuration.

---

6. Click on Server.

---

8. Add your Factorio username and token in the designated fields. The changes will automatically be saved.

9. Go back to your main instance page and start your server.

Now you just set up your game token on your Factorio server!

How Do I Join My Factorio Server

To join your Factorio server, you will have to use the server connection details that you noted in step number four.

Join In-Game Using Your Server IP

To join your server in-game using the IP, you will have to:

1. Start Factorio, then click on the Multiplayer button.

2. Click on Connect to address.

---

3. Fill in your server connection details, then click on Connect.

Now, you’ve just connected to your Factorio server!

Join In-Game via the Server List

To see your server here, you will have to be sure that you did add your game token as explained above in this guide. Otherwise, players will not be able to see your server here.

To join your server in-game using the server list, you will have to:

1. Start Factorio, then click on the Multiplayer button.

2. Click on Browse public games.

---

3. Find your server in the list and click on it, then on Join game.

Now, you’ve just connected to your Factorio server!
