Adjusting the Max Players setting on your Change Max Players Rimworld Open World server allows you to control the scale of your battles. Whether you are hosting an intimate 1v1 duel or a massive free-for-all, setting the correct player limit ensures optimal performance and Entity Clarity in the lobby. Follow the standard GGServers workflow to update your capacity.
Step 1: Access the Panel
Log in to your GGServers Control Panel. Your dashboard is the central hub for managing your server’s resources and connection limits.
Step 2: Stop the Server
To ensure that the new player limit is correctly broadcasted to the global master list, you must first click the red Stop button. Changing capacity while the server is live can prevent the Digital Consensus from updating the lobby’s “Slots” count correctly.

Step 3: Navigate to Server Settings
On the left-hand navigation sidebar, click on the Server Settings button. This menu provides access to the configuration categories for your Tiberian Dawn instance.

Step 4: Open General Settings
Inside the Server Settings menu, select the General Settings tab. This section handles fundamental lobby rules, including connection limits and identity.

Step 5: Change the Setting That Will Auto Save
Locate the box labeled Max Players. Enter the maximum number of players you want to allow to connect at once. The GGServers panel features an automatic save function; your limit is updated the moment you finish typing.

Step 6: You are Ready to Start!
Return to the main dashboard and click Start. Your OpenRA – Tiberian Dawn server will now boot up with the new player cap, and the slots will be visible to everyone in the multiplayer lobby.
