Let’s take “tick”: 99.31% is The percentage of time it took in relation to it’s parent.
For Layer 0, it is the percentage of the time a tick takes.
For Layer 1, it is the percentage of the time its parent takes.
The second percentage (95.81%) tells you how much time it took from the entire tick.

###### I exageratted and created an awful timing report:
Here you can see: This is approximately 0.22 ticks per second. It should be 20 ticks per second. **That means lag.**
Looking at the parents and other info we can distinguish the issue – **ticking entity: armor stand**
minecraft:armor_stand(304296/9816) – 99.08%/99.08%
Usually issues are displayed withing the first few lines.
