# How to Set a Password

To make your server private by setting up a password, you will need to:

1. Log in to your game server panel [here](https://amp.ggservers.com).

2. Click on your Assetto Corsa instance, then click on `Manage`, and then stop the server.

3. Click on `Configuration`, then on `AC Server Settings`.

4. Locate the `Server Password` section and enter your desired password in the text box. The panel will automatically save your changes.

5. Start your Assetto Corsa server by clicking on `Status`, then on `Start`.


Now you’ve just set up a password for your Assetto Corsa server! Players will have to enter this password to join your server.
