How to OP Yourself on Your Minecraft Server


This guide will show you how to properly give yourself admin privileges on your Java server.

|| ⚠ NOTE ⚠: You will not be able to use any console commands until you OP yourself on your server.

# How to OP Yourself

Please note that if you just purchased a server you can OP yourself only from the Multicraft console.

1. Log into your Multicraft Control Panel [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login).

2. Make sure you’re on your servers page. On the left-hand side of your Control Panel click ‘Console’.

3. In the text box above the console, type `op `, then either click on `Send`, either press the `Enter` key.

|| ⚠ NOTE ⚠: You need to replace `` with your actual username.

||| Should you make changes to who has OP permissions on your server, please use the `/deop ` command. This command can be executed by any OP player in-game and it can also be executed via the console to remove the OP privileges from a player.
