This guide will show you how to properly give yourself admin privileges on your `Bedrock Dedicated` server.

|| ⚠ NOTE ⚠: You will not be able to use any console commands until you OP yourself on your server.

# How to OP Yourself

To OP yourself in Bedrock servers please do the following:

1. Open your Bedrock client and join your Bedrock server.

||| You will need to remain logged on your server until the last step, so do not close you Bedrock client and let it connected to your server!

2. Login into your Multicraft Control Panel [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login).

3. Click on `Console`, on the left-hand side of your Control Panel.


4. In the text box above the console, type `op ` and click to `Send` or press the `Enter` key.

|| ⚠ NOTE ⚠: You need to replace `` with your actual username.

**Example:**

“`

Or, if your username has spaces, please type it in between quotation marks.

“`
op “gg servers”
“`


||| Should you make changes to who has OP permissions on your server, please use the `/deop ` command. This command can be executed by any OP player in-game and it can also be executed via the console to remove the OP privileges from a player.

# Enable Cheats

Now, once you are already OP on your server, you might need to **enable cheats** for your server as well. For that, please follow the steps below:

1. Login into your Multicraft Control Panel [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login) and STOP the server.

2. On the left-hand side of your Control Panel click `Files` and then `Config Files`.


3. The first option that should appear will be `Server Settings`. Select that option.


4. Scroll down on the page until you find the option to `allow-cheats`. You will need to change that from `false` to `true`.


5. Click on `Save` it and START the server again.
