How to Show Your OpenTTD Server in the Public Masterlist<\/h2>\n

By default, OpenTTD servers can be private or public. If you want players from around the world to find and join your transport company through the in-game server browser, you must enable the “Show in Masterlist” setting. This registers your server with the central OpenTTD directory. Follow these steps to make your server public using the GGServers panel.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Access the GGServers Panel and Stop Your Server<\/h3>\n

Log in to the GGServers Control Panel<\/a>. Before changing your visibility settings, you must Stop<\/strong> your server. This ensures that the heart-beat signal sent to the masterlist correctly reflects your server’s public status upon the next startup.<\/p>\n
