If you\u2019d like to play your Terraria world in singleplayer or save a backup locally, you can download the world file directly from your server to your PC. Here\u2019s how to do it step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save Your Terraria World to Your Computer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your server\u2019s Control Panel and STOP the server<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the “Backups” section<\/strong>, located on the left-hand side of the panel<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on the “Create backup” button<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Once the Backup is done, click on the “three dots” and click “Download”<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. After the download is complete, you can now extract the ZIP file on your own PC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The world file will be located at the “Saves” directory and have a .wld<\/code> extension and match the name you originally assigned to the world. You can ignore files ending in .bak<\/code> \u2014 those are backup versions and not needed for normal play.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
