How to Install Mods on Your Server \ud83d\udee0\ufe0f<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To install mods on your Project Zomboid server, you’ll need both their Workshop IDs and Mod IDs. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to Configuration<\/strong><\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    3. Click on PZ Server Settings<\/code><\/strong> option and find the Install Workshop Items<\/code><\/strong> box alongside with the Load Mods<\/code><\/strong> box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Get the NAMEs<\/em> and the Mod IDs<\/em> of each pack from Steam’s ProjectZomboid Workshop like the following example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u26a0\ufe0f If the Mod Name has spaces, ignore them. ( E.g.: The Gun Mode<\/code><\/strong>, should be only thegunmode<\/code><\/strong> within the configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. On the Load Mods<\/code><\/strong> box, you should insert the Mod name without space, and on the Install Workshop Items<\/strong><\/code> their IDs, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note:<\/strong> When installing map mods, make sure they are entered in both the WorkshopItems and Mods sections as described above.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      Steps to Enable Map Mods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Navigate to Configuration > PZ Server Settings<\/code> <\/strong>and find the Maps<\/code><\/strong> box. There, add the Name<\/code><\/strong> of it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. As an example. on the Workshop page of your chosen map mod, find and copy the Map Folder<\/strong> value, usually listed at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Therefore, In the Maps<\/strong> field, enter the Map Folder value. For example, TheNiceMap<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Note:<\/strong> You must have the same mods installed both client-side and server-side to join your server.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

          Steps to Install Mods Locally<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          1. Find your desired mod on the Project Zomboid Workshop page and click Subscribe<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            2. In a file explorer tab, navigate to User > Zomboid > Mods<\/strong><\/code>
            3. In a new file explorer tab, head over to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\108600<\/strong><\/code> or the equivalent folder on your operating system.
            4. Open the folder with the Workshop ID of the desired mod.
            5. Copy the folder named after the Mod ID into the previous mods folder you opened.
            6. Launch Project Zomboid and click Mods<\/strong> in the in-game main menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
