For these consoles, you <strong>must<\/strong> use Bedrock Dedicated Server or Geyser (<strong>recommended<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minecraft Bedrock does not allow direct connections from XBOX, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch to a server IP like the Windows 10 Edition and Pocket Edition (MCPE) do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>To be able to join a server from your console, you will have to do an additional DNS setup using a third-party program called <code>BedrockConnect<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">For further reference, <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Pugmatt\/BedrockConnect\">here<\/a> you can find more details about it on their official page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><strong>It&#8217;s understandable why some might not want to use a random DNS server. Keep in mind that a DNS server does not have any access to the information you send to a server\/website. It only knows the domains you are currently trying to use so it can respond with an IP to connect to, but nothing that has to do with the information you send to an actual server.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Connecting via XBOX  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find a video tutorial
