We want to ditch the <code>198.758.43.3:3532<\/code> nonsense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you need to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the domain list: <a href=\"https:\/\/domains.google.com\/m\/registrar\/\">https:\/\/domains.google.com\/m\/registrar\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Click on <code>Manage<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/6a68799a-21b9-4a10-87df-8f6ac1_kckmyb.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Click on <code>DNS<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/115d287e-85e9-4ed3-9d48-bc2bcd_1jeyj19.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You should see something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/eacb4942-65c5-42e9-92b2-318835_9jq2yc.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Scroll down till you see <code>Custom resource records<\/code>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/c1940f36-ac77-4036-8d26-f2e6da_1hrbpw.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li>Where it says <code>1H<\/code>, type <code>5M<\/code> This allows us to make changes within five minutes instead of an hour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li>Next, we need the IP Address from your server. Find your server by logging in here: <a href=\"https:\/\/mc.ggservers.com\/index.php?r=server\/index\">https:\/\/mc.ggservers.com\/index.php?r=server\/index<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/getting-started-how-to-access-and-use-your-multicraft-panel\/\">Here<\/a> is our guide for getting access to your Multicraft panel if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li>Once you have opened your server, you want to find the line that says <code>IP<\/code> and has a number next to it. You should see something like this:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/newipred_5eyba5.jpg\" alt=\"IP Address\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"8\">\n<li>You need to copy and paste the number to the <strong>left<\/strong> of the colon <strong>exactly<\/strong> as it is here into the field that says <code>IPv4 Address<\/code>. Click <code>ADD<\/code> to finish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/139a4b4a-e022-4fe2-82e7-03edc7_c4u7k6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\">\n<li>Now, we have a URL pointing to our server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/8fc107ad-36cd-4145-a0bd-606591_v0ui1g.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, you could connect to your server using the URL and port number like this: <code>mydomain.com:25698<\/code> But, what\u2019s the fun in that? We want people to be able to connect just by typing in <code>mydomain.com<\/code>. If it says anything other than <code>25565<\/code> for your \u201cport\u201d as pictured below, we need to do a little more work to make the URL work right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Setting Up a Nice URL  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/clicka_1dhntj6.jpg\" alt=\"A\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will have to do the following steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on \u201cSRV\u201d. This is a service record, we\u2019re telling the world that our Minecraft server is at <code>mydomain.com:port<\/code> but we\u2019re calling it <code>mydomain.com<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/0725c766-1480-4d71-83b4-554d13_1nnllnu.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You should see something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/3a25b981-65f9-474e-bbca-c63dec_195n646.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Put <code>_minecraft._tcp<\/code> in the field that has <code>@<\/code> in it. This tells Google what kind of service we\u2019re using.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>In the box marked <code>1H<\/code> type <code>5M<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>In the other box we want to type <code>0 5 PORT @<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li>Find the line that says <code>IP<\/code> and has a number next to it. You should see something like this:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/newipred_1ykk06j.jpg\" alt=\"IP Address\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li>Replace PORT with the number to the <strong>right<\/strong> of the colon <strong>exactly<\/strong> as your number appears here into the field that says <code>IPv4 Address<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you are using a subdomain like<\/em> <code>mc.mydomain.com<\/code> <em>you will want to use that instead<\/em> of @.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will look something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/7f270808-f16d-4cee-bb51-291a7a_c1diga.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li>Click on <code>ADD<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/a66db0d4-d6b3-4125-956b-3a1d77_m9ks5a.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re done! It may take up to an hour to work but usually only takes about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can connect to your website using just your domain (URL) without needing any fancy numbers or special symbols.
