This guide will help you set up on your server a custom domain using Cloudflare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting Up Cloudflare <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

What you need to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to your Cloudflare DNS dashboard: https:\/\/dash.cloudflare.com\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on Add a site<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Type in your site name, then click, Add site<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        You’ll see this screen, click Next<\/code>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Next, click on the free plan and Confirm plan<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Then you’ll see a notice about the free plan. Click Confirm<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. They’ll ask you to double-check that your DNS records are the same as on your domain:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              1. Scroll down and click Continue<\/code>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                1. Click I need help changing my nameservers<\/code>. They’ll walk you through how to change your nameservers. When you’re done, click Continue<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. You’ll need to wait a few minutes, then click Re-check now<\/code>. It may take a few hours for your changes to take effect. They will send you an email when everything is set up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. You’re set up with Cloudflare, now let’s get the custom domain working.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Using Cloudflare For a Custom Domain <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

                      You will have to do the following steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      1. Select the name you want to use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        1. Then click DNS<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                          1. Click on SRV<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            1. Enter _minecraft<\/code> as the service. Next, you should see something like this:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              1. For the Port<\/code> box we want to use the port<\/code> from your server, copy and paste the number to the right<\/strong> of the colon as pictured here:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                  You’re done! It may take up to an hour to work but usually only takes 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
