This guide will show you how to properly set up scheduled restarts into your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting Up Scheduled Restarts <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To set up automatic backups you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your Pterodactyl here<\/a> and stop your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Click on Scheduled Tasks<\/strong><\/code>, then Create Schedule<\/strong><\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Give it a meaningful name and click on Create Schedule<\/strong><\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Your task should appear there. Now, click on Manage Schedule<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          You can switch the box Show Cheatsheet<\/strong> to see what the boxes mean.
          Feel free to also tick on\/off Only When Server Is Online<\/strong> to allow the server to create backups even if the server is offline.
          On the example above, we are creating Daily<\/strong> backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Click on New Task<\/code><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. On Action<\/code><\/strong>set it to Send power action<\/code><\/strong>and on Payload<\/code><\/strong>set it to Restart the server<\/code><\/strong>. Now, just click on Create Task<\/code><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
