Also, they are usually changing different mechanics of your Bedrock server, like advancements, structures, recipes, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So you can use the Resource\/Behavior pack to create a better experience for your players on the server, altering the default game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Load Your Packs on Your Client  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step for adding resource\/behavior packs is to load them into your Bedrock client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To do so, follow the next steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download the wanted resource\/behavior packs to your PC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Minecraft Bedrock on your PC, and leave it open in the background.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double-click on all resource\/behavior packs you want to add and they will automatically be imported to your Bedrock client.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_1e8gqpk.jpg\" alt=\"Import\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  How to Add Packs to Your Server  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that you cannot add resource\/ behavior packs to a server directly, you need to load them first in a single-player world, then upload that world back to your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After you loaded the wanted resource\/behavior packs on your client, you need to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download your Bedrock server world folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">We have a guide explaining how to download your Bedrock world <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-download-your-world-on-your-bedrock-server\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Move your server world folder you just downloaded to your local <code>minecraftWorlds<\/code> folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To find the mentioned folder just press the <code>Windows<\/code> key, then type <code>run<\/code> and hit <code>Enter<\/code>.  You will have to input the following in the window that appears, then hit the <code>Enter<\/code> key again:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><code>%LocalAppData%PackagesMicrosoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbweLocalStategamescom.mojangminecraftWorlds<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/4_19c9ewo.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your Minecraft Bedrock PC client, go to <code>Worlds<\/code> and click on the edit button for the world you just added to your <code>minecraftWorlds<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2_1o0187j.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">NOTE: If your world is not showing up, you can right-click on the world folder you downloaded and add it to an archive (ZIP file). Then, rename it by changing the <code>.zip<\/code> at the end to <code>.mcworld<\/code>. When you double-click on the <code>.mcworld<\/code> file, it will automatically be imported to your Bedrock PC client as a new world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/6_1dzhza6.png\" alt=\".mcworld\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <code>Resource Packs<\/code> or <code>Behaviors Packs<\/code> depending on what pack you want to load, and then click on <code>Activate<\/code> to add them to your world.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/3_tcjvnc.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">Be sure the packs were first loaded into your Bedrock client as explained in the first section of the guide!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now, that you added the resource\/ behaviors packs to your world, you can get a copy of the world folder from the <code>minecraftWorlds<\/code> folder and proceed to upload it to your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">NOTE: You can also export the world from your Bedrock PC client in the <code>Worlds<\/code> section by pressing the edit button for the specified world, then clicking on <code>Export<\/code>. The exported file will be a <code>.mcworld<\/code> file.
