Have you just installed SpongeForge on your server and now it is not starting?
This probably means that your server is running a modpack that contains a mod called ” FoamFix<\/a> “, which is preventing the server from starting properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This article will try to help you on how you can install SpongeForge in your modded server without issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are all Minecraft Versions that SpongeForge can run?<\/strong>
SpongeForge can work properly in any 1.10.2, 1.11, 1.11.2, 1.12, 1.12.1 or 1.12.2 modded servers. You can also check more about it in our SpongeForge<\/a> article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is FoamFix?<\/strong>
In few words, FoamFix is a mod that was done with the objective to optimize modded Minecraft using as simple, targeted optimizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find FoamFix mod here.
Feed The Beast Moda packs also usually have this mod pre-installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can I be<\/strong> sure if my server is running with FoamFix?<\/strong>
You can check if your server have or not FoamFix by opening your FTP<\/a> and going to \/mods<\/em> directory.
If FoarmFix is there, then your server is trying to execute SpongeForge but FoamFix is preventing it from start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Fix <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To get all this shorted, we need to firstly open your server files, which you can find them in your FTP File Access<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2753 If you don’t know what is FTP or how to use it, we suggest you read us How to: Access Your Minecraft Server Files Via FTP<\/a> article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Stop your server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Login in your FTP File Access<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Open the ” config<\/em> ” directory. (\/config folder).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Scroll down and find the ” foamfix.cfg<\/em> ” file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Right-click and then click on ” Edit<\/em> “.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Now you’ll need to find two settings and change both values from ” true<\/em> ” to ” false<\/em> “

        There you’ll need to find:

        B:optimizedBlockPos<\/code> and B:patchChunkSerialization<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Once you find, set both values to ” false<\/em> “.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click on Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Back to your Control Panel and start your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Done!
          \nNow your server must execute SpongeForge in your modded server!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
