Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/improve-your-forge-modded-server-performance\/\/\">this guide<\/a>! \u26a0\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how you can avoid some lag in your server:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Automatic Restarts  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Automatic restarts unload heavy chunks that are still loaded on your server and damage your server&#8217;s performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">You can set your server to automatically restart at a time when players are not using your server following our <a href=\"\/en-us\/article\/scheduled-restarts-shj7m4\/\">Scheduled Restarts<\/a> article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Using Anti-Lag Fabric Mods  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Anti-Lag Mods can be very dangerous but they can also be used to avoid huge lag on Fabric Modded Servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To install them just drag and drop the Mods into your <code>\/mods<\/code> directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-install-mods-on-your-server\/\">Here<\/a> is our guide for installing mods into your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/minecraft\/mc-mods\/lithium\"> <code>Lithium<\/code> <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/minecraft\/mc-mods\/phosphor\"> <code>Phosphor<\/code> <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">NOTE: The Lithium mod is a great addition to any Fabric server!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Using Client-Side Shaders Mods  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Another way to improve performance while you are playing is to use client-side shaders mods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/client-side-mods\/\">Here<\/a> is our guide explaining about client-side mods and <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-install-mods-into-your-client\/\">here<\/a> the one explaining how to install them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">We recommend using the following two mentioned mods <strong>together<\/strong> on your Fabric client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/minecraft\/mc-mods\/sodium\"> <code>Sodium<\/code> <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides better rendering techniques, optimizations for chunk loading, block rendering, vertex building, etc., and many graphical fixes as you can see on the official page mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/minecraft\/mc-mods\/irisshaders\"> <code>Iris<\/code> <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It should fully utilize your graphics card when paired with Sodium mod and it also provides shaders improvements as you can see on the official page mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> \ufe0f Pre-Generating Your World  \ufe0f<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Minecraft&#8217;s world creation is a process based on complex calculations. A world is generated dynamically as you play, meaning that the entire world is not created when you start playing but generates more and more as you play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A good way to reduce lag on your server is to a radius to the spawn area and then use a plugin or mod to pre-generate the chunks from that zone. This way, when players will explore that zone the game will just have to load the already existing chunks instead of generating them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">We have a guide <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-pre-generate-your-world\/\">here<\/a> that explains how to pre-generate your world and gives examples of plugins and mods for pre-generating your world for nearly any Minecraft version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">World Pre Generator Mod<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>A great mod to use to pre-generate your world on a Fabric server is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/minecraft\/mc-mods\/chunk-pregenerator-fabric\">Chunk Pregenerator Fabric<\/a>. This mod can be used on 1.15.2 or higher versions of Minecraft. This is especially true on servers that have a lot of plugins or mods that use more RAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-upgrade-or-downgrade-your-service\/\">Here<\/a> is our guide for upgrading your service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-success\">Please note that you can always upgrade your service any time you want by only paying the difference in package price and not the full price again.
