You can find more about FileZilla in our article \u201c <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-access-your-minecraft-server-files-via-ftp\/\">How to: Access Your Minecraft Server Files Via FTP<\/a> \u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once WorldEdit Mod is in your \u201cmods\u201d folder, you need just to restart your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Basic Commands and Features.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some examples of how it works.<br>\nSome of great functions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Setting blocks, Replace, walls and etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To select blocks with WorldEdit,  it uses (by default) the Wood Axe tool.<br>\nTo get the tool, we can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Creative Gamemode.<br><br>Or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the command <code>\/\/wand<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating\/Selecting a region<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once we get WorldEdit&#8217;s Wood Axe or typing <code>\/\/wand<\/code>, we can use some of it features.<br>\nThis &#8221; Region &#8221; can be set using that wand.<br>\nOnce the item is in your hand, using your mouse, you can:<br>\n-&gt; <code>Left-click<\/code> &#8211; To set the first position.<br>\n-&gt; <code>Right-click<\/code> &#8211; To set the second region position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thinking both as two points we can imagine a cuboid area as the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/worldedit-cuboid_78poid.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now once we have a region set, we can use some of WorldEdit&#8217;s features!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here you can check some GIF examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting Blocks (\/\/set)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This will set blocks in a region:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to do it, you can use:<br>\n<code>\/\/set &lt;pattern&gt;<\/code><br>\nYou can type the Minecraft block you&#8217;d like into &#8220;pattern&#8221; using the newest Minecraft ID resource.<br>\nExample: The Minecraft block ID for a grass block is <code>minecraft:grass_block<\/code>, for diamond is <code>minecraft:diamond_block<\/code> and etc.<br>\nCheck out the following example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/hZqlVv1.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Replacing Blocks (\/\/replace)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This will replace specified blocks into other ones in a region:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to do it, you can use:<br>\n<code>\/\/replace &lt;block_to_be_replaced&gt; &lt;new_block&gt;<\/code><br>\nYou can type the Minecraft block you&#8217;d like into &#8220;parameters&#8221; using the newest Minecraft ID resource.<br>\nExample: We would like to replace some building Oak Wood blocks into Cobblestone. Then we should use: <code>\/\/replace minecraft:oak_wood minecraft:cobblestone<\/code>.<br>\nCheck out the following example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/gYZtRUm.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Undo and Redo (\/\/undo and \/\/redo)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This feature can undo and redo some determined action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine you did something incorrectly, some replacement that it was not too good or the look wasn&#8217;t fine.<br>\nInstead of doing everything again, you can just simply use <code>\/\/undo<\/code> to back to the previous state of your region.<br>\nYou can also use <code>\/\/redo<\/code> to use the action again and back to the original build version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating Walls (\/\/walls)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This features should allow you to create walls in your region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is similar to the &#8221; \/\/set &#8221; feature but it creates a hollow inside the region, meaning just walls.<br>\nYou can type the Minecraft block you&#8217;d like into &#8220;parameters&#8221; using the newest Minecraft ID resource.<br>\nExample: If you&#8217;re looking to create a cobblestone wall, then we can use: <code>\/\/walls minecraft:cobblestone<\/code>.<br>\nCheck out the following example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/zih2E9y.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several other and numerous features that the WorldEdit plugin offers that are not listed in this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pyramids; <code>\/\/pyramid<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spheres; <code>\/\/sphere<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Large circles in the ground; <code>\/\/cyl<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Custom trees and etc; are one of the few things this plugin can do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also use multiple blocks for the same command, so WorldEdit will use variations of the blocks selected in the executed command.<br>\nExample:<br>\n<code>\/\/set minecraft:grass_block,minecraft:emerald_block<\/code> -&gt; It will set blocks in a pre-determined region using both block: Grass Block and Emerald Block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Schematics<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Schematics are the way to save buildings and paste them in your world.<br>\nThese ones should be located inside your <code>\/plugins\/WorldEdit\/Schematics<\/code> directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">If can&#8217;t find a <code>schematics<\/code> folder in your WorldEdit&#8217;s directory, don&#8217;t worry, you can create one, or simply create a schematic in your server that the folder should be generated in your FTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating and using Schematics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>To create a schematic you&#8217;ll need to set two corners with WorldEdit&#8217;s wand.<br>\n<strong>2<\/strong> Once marked, type to copy <code>\/\/copy<\/code>.<br>\n<strong>3<\/strong> Use the schematic command and give it a name.<br>\n-&gt; E.g.: <code>\/\/schem save &lt;name&gt;<\/code> &#8211; <code>\/\/schem save MyHouse<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4<\/strong> By doing this, you have just created an schematic called &#8221; <code>MyHouse<\/code> &#8220;.<br>\n<strong>5<\/strong> You can see your schematics by typing <code>\/\/schem list<\/code>.<br>\n<strong>6<\/strong>To load some schematic, just type: <code>\/\/schem load &lt;name&gt;<\/code> &#8211; E.g.: <code>\/\/schem load MyHouse<\/code>.<br>\n<strong>7<\/strong> Once any schematic is loaded, it will set it in your copy\/paste transfer area.<br>\n<strong>8<\/strong> You can paste the schematic by typing <code>\/\/paste<\/code> or <code>\/\/paste -a<\/code> to paste without the Air block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>As clarified in the article, this is a very simple and basic plugin guide.
