If you don\u2019t know how to add yourself as an OP, please follow our guide: <a href=\"\/en-us\/article\/how-to-op-yourself-on-your-minecraft-server-1l4zakc\/\">How to: OP Yourself on Your Minecraft Server<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, please note that to be able to use command blocks you need to be in creative, which can be done by using the following command:<br>\n<code>\/gamemode creative<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2753 What Are Command Blocks \u2753<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Command blocks are actual in-game blocks that can execute commands. So you can let a block run a command instead of yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/commandblock_shibf.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that command blocks can not be obtained through survival, but only in creative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Enabling Command Blocks In Your Server  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Command Blocks are disabled by default. Just remember that you don\u2019t want to use the slash <code>\/<\/code> in your Multicraft server console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/5667e317-2053-426b-89a6-cda30a_1ozk7mk.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this example, we used <code>@p<\/code> in Minecraft to give ourselves a command block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/19d6c891-8df4-4d09-8b6e-01ac07_1lxe91q.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: <code>\/give @p minecraft:command_block<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Using Target Selectors With Command Blocks  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>A target selector is a syntax used to target a player or entity in Minecraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>@p &#8211; Targets the nearest player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>@r &#8211; Targets a random player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>@a &#8211; Targets all players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>@e &#8211; Targets all entities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>@s &#8211; Target yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Commandhook Plugin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This plugin adds the possibility to use vanilla selectors in non-vanilla commands written in CommandBlock.
