This guide will explain more about securing your Multicraft roles and panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a server owner you want your Multicraft panel as secure as possible so no changes are made to your server by anyone besides you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Multicraft panel is not something that should be accessed by users or players. Just by the owner of the server and its administrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can give access Multicraft access to another user so they can help with server management as described by our guide here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you do this, the account will get permissions according to the role you assign.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we are talking about giving another Multicraft user access to your server, not about in-game players. Multicraft roles have no effect in-game, just on the Multicraft panel itself. The second person will have to create a Multicraft account here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ufe0f Multicraft Roles \ufe0f<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Multicraft roles are a feature that affects only the Multicraft panel, so changing the role for a user on the panel will affect only the interaction of that user with the panel itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, granting the moderator<\/code> or owner<\/code> role for a player on the Multicraft panel will not give him access to in-game commands or any extra permissions in-game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before setting a role to a user, you need to first know what each of them will be doing:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cannot view the server status or access any feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Can see basic information about a server, like if it is up and running or not and the number of players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

User<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Can use the chat, view available commands and use certain chat functionalities if enabled by the server owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moderator<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Can start or stop the server and use \/admin say<\/code> command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can see the full server console, summon, kick or teleport players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can also use the \/give<\/code> command and download backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has full control over all server functions such as player management and config files editing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Securing Your Multicraft Panel <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To be sure you are securing properly your Multicraft panel you will have to change some settings regarding the default role and server visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
