It has a smaller library of mods compared to Forge, and not every Forge mod has a Fabric version. Our FileZilla guide can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-connect-to-your-server-using-filezilla\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Start your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now start your server with the Fabric version you selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/5_b5t9x1.png\" alt=\"Start Your Server\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> \ufe0f Setting Up a Custom Fabric Version Manually  \ufe0f<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to run a custom\/specific version of Fabric, you can install it manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Downloading Fabric Server Files<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get the files for the custom Fabric version you want to use, you will need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the official Fabric website <a href=\"https:\/\/fabricmc.net\/use\/installer\/\">here<\/a> and download the installer in an empty folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Open the newly downloaded file by double-clicking it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Select the <code>Server<\/code> option, select the version you want to use, and click on download.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_19tbkxf.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">NOTE: You can select the location you want it to be downloaded to, but by default, the files will be saved in the same folder as the installer, which is an empty folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Click on <code>Download server jar<\/code> in the pop-up that appears, then click on <code>Done<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2_1vgnjk7.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you have the required files for setting up your server with the custom version of Fabric you want to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Installing Fabric in your Server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have the Fabric files, you just need to upload them to your server by following the next steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your Multicraft panel <a href=\"https:\/\/mc.ggservers.com\/site\/login\">here<\/a> and stop your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_1bo1fdz.png\" alt=\"Stop Your Server\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Rename the <code>fabric-server-launch.jar<\/code> to one of the following, depending on which version of Fabric you want to use:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><code>custom-java17.jar<\/code> &#8211;
