{"id":12810,"date":"2019-07-24T04:53:38","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T04:53:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2.gginternal.net\/knowledgebase\/article\/server-is-not-starting-properly\/"},"modified":"2025-01-06T11:54:06","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T11:54:06","slug":"server-is-not-starting-properly","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/server-is-not-starting-properly\/","title":{"rendered":"Server is not starting properly"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My server won&#8217;t start!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is your server not starting for some reason?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we need to try to find out what is causing this.<br> Multicraft, in a few words, works by running the JAR File present within the folders of your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is the directory named?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The directory is listed as &#8220;jar&#8221;<br>\n(it is a jar folder called &#8220;jar&#8221; inside your <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-access-your-minecraft-server-files-via-ftp\/\">FTP<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understanding:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you click on the &#8220;start&#8221; button, Multicraft will execute a specified jar file inside \/jar folder in your <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-access-your-minecraft-server-files-via-ftp\/\">FTP<\/a>.<br> Once started, everything related to the process from this beginning is logged in the LOG present in your console.<br> And this file, in turn, will execute all others files that are present on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Checking Console:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t know how to access your console, log in to your <a href=\"\/en-us\/article\/getting-started-accessing-your-server-control-panel-16c29qy\/\">Control Panel<\/a>, and click the &#8220;Console&#8221; button on the left side of your panel.<br>\nWithin all these weird messages and so much hard-to-understand information, you may encounter the latest errors, which are likely to be that the server will not restart the crashed server, a value will return, and a message saying that the server has shut down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Looks like a crash, check the server console.
