{"id":12804,"date":"2019-05-30T21:16:11","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T21:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2.gginternal.net\/knowledgebase\/article\/feed-the-beast-installation\/"},"modified":"2019-05-30T21:16:11","modified_gmt":"2019-05-30T21:16:11","slug":"feed-the-beast-installation","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/feed-the-beast-installation\/","title":{"rendered":"Feed The Beast Installation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/banner10_1mgbruh.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide will show you how to download a modpack from Feed the Beast and install it on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Prerequisites  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of FTP and the use of an <a href=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/article\/how-to-access-your-minecraft-server-files-via-ftp\/\">FTP client<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The FTB launcher, which can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.feed-the-beast.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">  Downloading Files  <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>To download the server files, you will need to go to the FTB official page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.feed-the-beast.com\/modpacks\">here<\/a>, select the modpack you want, click on <code>Versions<\/code>, and download the server files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ggservers.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_wssz59.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, you will need to run the installer you just downloaded and select the location where you want the server files to be added.
