This article will show you how to properly remove a mod from an already existing modpack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that we do not usually recommend removing mods from an existing modpack as this could cause future issues. But there are cases when removing a mod from a modpack is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u274e Remove the Mod \u274e<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To remove the mod you need to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your Multicraft here<\/a> and stop your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Use Filezilla to access your server mods<\/code> folder, select the mod you want, and then press the Delete<\/code> key.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Start the Server After <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

      Usually, on a modded server, if you want to remove a mod you need to use a new world as the world contains blocks and items from the mod that is now missing. But still, there is a way to remove the mod without generating a new world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      After you removed your mod, you need to do the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Log in to your Multicraft here<\/a> and start your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click on Console<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Type \/fml confirm<\/code> and click on Sent<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Now your server should start just fine and also keep your world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            NOTE: The \/fml confirm<\/code> command is working only on Forge servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
