This article will show you how to update your server to Minecraft 1.19.X version.
||| Please note that we recommend you make a backup of your world and download it before the change as an older world (one generated with a 1.16.X version for example) will most likely get corrupted. [Here](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-make-a-backup-and-download-it-noz1kf/) is our guide for making a backup and downloading it, and [here](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-make-a-backup-and-download-it-on-your-bedrock-server-1dzvodg/) the one to do a Bedrock backup and download it.
|| We recommend anytime to use a new world when you change your Minecraft version, so if you update from 1.18.X to 1.19.X it is best to use a new world. [Here](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-create-a-new-world-2fh26b/) is our guide for generating a new world.
