In an exclusive conversation with IGN, Minecraft Vanilla’s executive producer, Ingela Garneij<\/strong>, stated that the game was never built to support the free-to-play format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It doesn\u2019t work very well with how we built Minecraft,” Garneij said. “It\u2019s a purchase, and that\u2019s it. We believe that\u2019s the best approach for us.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
