Straight from the mines of Falun, Mojang has just dropped a copper-fueled game update that’s turning heads! Whether you remember it from the 2021 mob vote or not, the Copper Golem is back—and this time, it’s here to work.

Alongside the golem, Mojang is introducing an entire new copper tier for Minecraft:

The Copper Golem has been reimagined from its original mob vote appearance. Instead of randomly pressing buttons, this cute little helper now takes on a real job:

• ✅ Picks items from copper chests
• ✅ Sorts them into empty or matching chests
• ✅ Adds life and animation to your builds
• ✅ Changes appearance as it oxidizes over time

Summoning a Copper Golem now also generates a copper chest, giving players an instant start with their new helper bot.

You can also craft your own copper chests by surrounding a regular chest with copper ingots—super easy, super useful!

Finally! For the first time since the Netherite update, Minecraft is adding a new gear tier.
