How To Use Happy Ghast in Minecraft
The Minecraft 1.21.6 “Chase the Skies” update introduces a brand-new flying mob: the Happy Ghast. This friendly variation of the traditional Ghast isn’t just for show—it lets you and your friends fly through the skies together!
In this guide, you’ll learn how to get, grow, and ride a Happy Ghast in Minecraft.
The first step toward using a Happy Ghast is obtaining a Dried Ghast, which can be acquired in three ways:

| 🛠️ Crafting | Place 1 Soul Sand in the center and 4 Ghast Tears around it |

Normally, a Ghastling takes 20 minutes to grow into a Happy Ghast. But if you feed it snowballs, the process speeds up significantly.

To fly on a Happy Ghast, you need a Harness.
